Nice place, many in one. Awesome library, swimming pool and event hall. However, I think they might need consider enlarging the locker room and creating a family locker room where parents could change and help kids to change. It’s not ideal to have kids in men locker room while others are changing or adult would wait until parents with kids finish.
Took Treasure and Nuriah to the East Libray and Rec center for some quiet time away from the house. They were so surprised to see a gym, basketball court, indoor pool, and most of all, all the books in the library. And the rocking chairs were the best. So theraputic. We put a tablet in the charging box 8 as soon as we came in, connected it, and locked the unit, but it didn't charge at all. I think the android charging cable in that box is bad. It seemed that there were some kid events or camps going on, but we thought we might be able to do some crafts, but we couldn't get that figured out. So we just hang out in the library. Even looking out the windows from the kids' corner was awesome! Thank you.
This place was perfect for our event! The staff are super helpful and friendly. The rental process was easy and affordable!
The building and the grounds are very nice.
We will definitely consider having another event here!!!
Modernized, clean, spacious center with an open library (plentiful options, however smaller variety than the downtown George Hawkes library) and multiple rooms including a basketball court, weight room, swimming pool, etc. outside is a little walkway with a bridge with nice views.
Great looking facility. Books, fitness centers, meeting rooms, computer access, youth and adult rec leagues, sports fields and courts, walking trails and sitting areas, and community event programs all in one convenient place. Friendly and helpful staff. Arlington residents: Visit and get your free library card to check out the services.
The best natatorium we have been to, swim teachers are really excellent teachers and love what they do! Pool area is always clean, the family bathroom could use some help but I am willing to overlook it because the other bathrooms and showers are clean. The library is one of the best ones we have been to, they have a great variety of childrens books and lots of different areas to sit and read. Also, the way the books are arranged in the childrens area makes it really easy for kids to flip through them, without pulling them out all the way, it is very thoughtful!

I appreciate the services you all offer . The only thing I wish you better communication within you all staff for for them to actually know what's going on within there facility. Honestly if I pay for a membership with certain service and that service is never available why do the member need to pay for that membership. Last week I came Monday and they were open came Tuesday got turned around with my kid because they were understaffed called Thursday at 12 to confirm before I came out of my way again ad as Milly said I can attend another facility but this is the closest to me and I've been coming here since it was smith center . When I cam after calling& her telling me 5-7 when it was advertised as 5:30-7 . I got here and they were closed again. It was very disappointing because this the only time I get to work out for myself. Luckily the lady was nice enough to find a lady staff camper to watch him for a hour . Because I literally wanted to cry because this was a in going thing for a few weeks with camp and everything I understood that. I came sunday to swim with my son and you guys didn't have the sign up for hours for kids club so I assumed it was closed Monday or the hours would be the same 9-11am & double check the site and came Monday and closed I just wish there was a consistent information given because I try to rearrange my schedule. I also wish you all had a changing table in the women's locker room . Again if we arent offering the service I rather you say that then pay for a service. I know the library does news letters on what's cancelled and they do online as well maybe if we knew ahead of time the kids club is closed that would be better to. And I didn't appreciate Milly sayin payroll was more important then speaking with me about
Took my grandson and 3 granddaughters to Halloween fest and they told me it was the best night of their lil lives. They got to meet a chicken ,super Mario cat in the hat ,police officers, face painting, limbo,n so much more then I expected got a book n a dog balloon they had a blast so thankyou for having a alternative .
